Passing The Hwangok, Heo's Mausoleum

Kinsley Lee

Queen Heo, secluded and alone at tomb,
Waited her wishes couldn't attained,
After two millennia, she remains to be buried
Alone, her hope restrained.
The love which traversed the vast ocean and long space,
A bond didn't easily gained,
Yet, the pagoda stands to be weathered,
In the pavilion, aged and waned.
