Doorway

2781

I remember something written,

Is was a while ago,

Kind of a contradiction, from those in the know.

It spoke of a doorway, a secret one within,

That leads us out of turmoil, to a life with him.

Now, there's always opposition,

King of pride is his name.

First he sears the conscience, then controls the brain,

And when he moves into the heart,

The whole world goes insane.

But in his word is the truth: to him we must bow.

O, the joy of deliverance,

The door is open now.
