Your Scars Make You Beautiful

zeraprinc

Now you are building a path to return to yourself,
while you carry with you the scars of life,
you would not be proud of your past,
if that Golgotha did not make you strong.

Hard times make strong people,
your every defeat is woven in you,
those who judge you would fall much lower,
such can also be exterminated by fear.

Aware that you are at the very bottom,
but that you can fall even lower,
you saw in the mirror a worthless woman,
whom the prince never comes to help.

You had to find the strength to stand up,
because life won't take care of itself,
from failure to become a fighter again
and build yourself into a person of worth.

You learned how to be strong at the bottom
and strike back at the world with ferocity,
you accepted every scar you inflicted,
because those scars now make you beautiful.
