Horrible Revenge

 

I will enact a horrible revenge on you 

for making me love you 

I will take you to beautiful places 

only to leave you there 

stranded 

I will buy you beautiful flowers 

and burn them before your eyes, 

in a fiery amalgam of tulips………I will slip away into the night 

And promise never to return 

 

Yet in the morning I will be there 

Skulking around you sleeping body 

carrying breakfast in bed…..and a shotgun.

 

I will enact a horrible revenge on you 

for making me love you 

The masculinisation of my mind

makes me want to calculate love and find a cure

Or to track it down 

And embark on a herculean mission to destroy it
