Moments turned to memories.
Memories became ancient ruins.
The sky a deep grey of grief.
The raging storm, tears of despair.
Desperation to salvage the pieces.
The sky now deep red of rage.
The pieces to small to repair.
Self loathing turned to recognition.
Staring at my face in the puddle of rain.
Then a sentence floods my mind.
"This isn't who I am..."
A farewell speech I speak.
Hysterical laugher emerges.
The sky turns blue.
The rain stops.
The pieces swept away.
The rebuilding begins.
A rainbow forms over my
head like a destined crown.
