Mischief

2781

Mischief, devised with a deceitful tongue.

Cut like a razor:

They had a good run.

But lies could never defeat the truth.

"What's this rotten fruit? Cut the branches from the vine, then into the furnace.

The vengeance is mine."

Light will the dark expose,

Wow to the inhabitants,

May the windows not close.

It's heaping up,

Here comes the wall,

Evil powers,

Leading the fall.

"What a misery." My wife would say.

But to not blow the trumpet?

That's not myway.

Excellent. It seems people reap what they sow.

Your words are also sharp like a razor, well said!

    2781,

razor sharp bite of a poem. I do read the line:

"But lies could never defeat the truth", and wonder if we have ever really been told the truth and have only been a fed lies from the beginning?

I'm beginning to understand the reverse technology implied by the so-called news; it seems that the truth is the opposite to that which we are shown and told.

Anyway, I digress into a world of conspiracy where i will be damned for my words, so lets agree on something...a damn fine poem however you interpret it,

    regards

      "What is truth?"
      Pontius Pilate.

      • Ma5on

the truth is whatever THEY want us to belive it is...but some us are getting wise ain't we.

M (not as wise a Pontius Pilate)

Pontius certainly got a bad rap.
          It's an upside down world.
