“Det 8 fot höga tornet”

Cherry Blossom

‘Tis was the night of a full moon,

When he saw a tall, run down, slouching tower

He climbed this high tower to hide from his pursuers,

To his surprise, he found a fair maiden, sleeping in a bed of red roses.

He found himself in a daze, as he was captivated by the sleeping beauty in front of him.

He closes in for a quick check of the maidens’ fair skin, her short black hair that lay still despite the strong breeze blowing through the room, her plump red cheeks that drew him closer.

He woke up the beauty that slept, for he saw his pursuers climbing the tall narrow tower,

But it was too late for his pursuers are here,

I found myself cornered at the back of the dark room,

I was ready to jump, but I woke up.
