Her Children

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

Oh, how she loves her children no matter what they do. They’ve been her blessing from the start; turning her gray skies blue. Each of them have changed her for the better. With the three of them she shares a special bond she will cherish forever. She’s learning as they grow older that it’s time to let them go; she never fully realized how much this would pain her so. How very hard it is for a Mother to set her children free. Trying to navigate this “new life;” with precious memories. Who are we when our children flock the nest? Did we do all we could? Did we do our best? It’s never easy for a Mother to let her children go; she hopes that they’ll remember two things: 1. When it gets hard you can always come back home. 2. Know inside your heart your Mother loves you so!

Nice to hear from you Tallisman! Thank you! Indeed children are like boomerangs; however, the periods between leaving and returning is a lot to get use to. At least for me anyway.
