A Very Modern Tale

Teddy.15

Romeo, my heart be broken

I fell upon your love

you fell upon mine, so it seemed

two important lovers

entwined forever in a myth

it was you

who wanted me gone

“you bastard”

you gave me the glass

I thought it was filled with prosecco

alas, we are both still here

i’m not speaking to you anymore

we will never be famous now

well…

maybe just on Facebook?

the end...

.

.

 .

the end of us.

A twist on olde Will's R & J, with a more gruesome ending. Whatever brought you to this table? Yet it is truly well done and enjoyed by me.
    Nice work. - Phil A.

A great twist on an old tale. Funny how time changes things.
              "Romeo, my heart be broken"
This story has always been a tragedy .
              "I fell upon your love"
In the original it was he that fell of the dagger from love of her. Another twist.
              "it was you
              who wanted me gone
              “you bastard”"
              The major twist here.
"alas, we are both still here
i’m not speaking to you anymore"
Another twist it was death in the first case now life, and with it no fame. Ah the cost of fame. A fun and yet pensive write.
