Sometimes it is better to rise above,

To breathe and accept,

Leaving the misery and worry...

the hurt and frustration, far below,

And instead?

Soar above it all,

Be more than 'it' which threatens to consume

A small decision,

A determined commitment,

You see it is a choice,

To be proactive...not reactive,

not staying still,
