RECIDIVIST

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Did my deep sigh echo
When the world was asleep
Those tears of sorrow
Unseen but to keep.

The clocks hands repeat
Why this obssession of time ?
Reminding me again
Life in decline.

Tears in salted rebellion
To my mind springs
Troubled breathing reminds
Less crowns, more kings.

I coveted beauty
Natures pure smile
Innocent yet cruel
The lone vine to climb.

Away to a distance
That now is in view
I leave only my words
Simply.. to you.
