The Lion and the Arcade

GaryAndLucia

A lion escaped from the zoo,
On a sunny Sydney day,
It broke down the wire fence,
While the zookeeper was away.

It ran so fast, no one could stop it
Its mane did blow in the breeze,
The zoo keeper was wondering how,
It has escaped with so much ease.

Its face was all over the news,
With its teeth glistening white,
Old ladies all over the town,
Thought they might die of fright.

But then there became a rumour,
That he was in an arcade,
No one knew how he got there,
Or what game he could of played.

The zookeeper confronted the lion,
Who was playing a basketball game,
He had a pile of lollies,
And said he wasn't to blame.
