winter

joshi

A DRY WIND BITES

AS THE SNOW TAKES IT’S THRONE;

WHEN ALL LIFE FREEZES,

ITS PRESENCE IT WILL MAKE KNOWN

PRIDEFUL IN A LIFELESS SLAY,

APPEARS THE QUEEN OF FROST.

AS LIFE LAY DIM & GREY,

SHE CLAIMS ALL THAT WAS LOST.

BUT WHEN THE ICE SETTLES,

THERE WILL GROW ONE FLOWER

THROUGH THE CRACKS OF A STONE.

BORN TO DEFY ALL POWER,

IT STANDS AS A MAMMOTHS BONE.

HEROES ARE NOT BORN

FROM VOLCANOS, OLD,

THEY ARE MADE BY

THE STORM, MERCILESS & COLD.

ONLY IN A BLIZZARD DO WE

RECOGNIZE THE WARMTH OF A DOVE

TO BE REBORN, YOU MUST

EMBRACE THE WINTERS LOVE

I live in south India brother, there is no snow here. I've never seen it either, but you don't need to see to dream.
