Raincloud

Miss_Dreamer

I feel like I cast my inner shadow outward wherever I go

Always keeping me in darkness

And touching everyone I come into contact with

When I share things the shadow overhead fills itself with rain and thunder

Ready to strike when they get too close

Threatening to pour down when I start to feel

I don't want to be the raincloud over someone else's sunny day

I don't want to cast my shadow on someone else's patch of light

I ruin everything I touch

So to protect everyone, I isolate

Because it's better to stand in the dark, stormy rain alone

Than to drag someone else into it with me
