A TANGLE OF DOUBTS

Natalie Gladmir

They should throw away their fear & anger,
They ought to unravel the tangle of doubts,
To glue past upsets & then drop the anchor
To the bottom of memory without any pout.
No one needs the scourging of conception,
Let them lock up the evil cycle of remorse.
Annoying mistakes & stupid sinful actions,
Won't be reviewed or as a check endorsed.
Striving for the ideal, they did not succeed,
They sail through life with their oars down,
And the hollow years fly by at turbo speed,
Bitterness of resentment make them frown.
Their timid attempts to harness mortal life
By jumping into the saddle create only strife.
They ought to forget anxiety and troubles,
Without delay to look in the Holy Scriptures,
Having given up the feeble plaintive babble,
They won't go on with their way with stricture.
