Paths Converging

Oscar Auliq-Ice

In a vibrant forest green and alive,
Two trails met under the radiant sky.
With excitement, I thought to embrace the expanse,
Seeing each pathway as a wondrous dance.

One seemed well-worn, by many a foot,
Its direction clear, its purpose put.
The other, though traveled, offered surprise,
A mix of the known and the undisguised.

That day, neither path was chosen alone,
For I found a friend, and together we've grown.
Adventures we've shared, memories we keep,
The journey more joyful with company deep.

In future, when stories of past I recite,
With a smile, not a sigh, I'll recount that light:
When paths converged in that forest so grand,
Together we walked, hand in hand.
