I Severed The Telephone Cord (Telegram)

Jaxxie

I've lost all means of contacting you [STOP] / Are you dead yet? /

You won't answer through the phone [STOP] / (I've severed the c--d) / Are you dead yet? /

I yearn to hear your voice again [STOP] / Are you dead yet? /

I wrote you at noon, did you get it [STOP] / (I've thrown the letter a--y) / Are you dead yet? /

I haven't seen you cry in a while [STOP] / Are you dead yet? /

I rang the doorbell twice, did you hear it [STOP] / (I never came b--k) / Are you dead yet?/

Was that you across the street [STOP] / Are you dead yet? /

I wrote a message to your mother, she told you [STOP] / (You didn't k--w) / Are you dead yet? /

When was the last time we (talked) [STOP] / Are you dead yet? /

My friend whispered in your ear [STOP] / (He would never tell y-u) / Are you dead yet? /

Didn't you get the message [STOP] / Are you dead yet? / (Telegrams are out of d--e) /

Are you **** yet? /
