Just a Dream

zeraprinc

Sometimes you come in my dreams like that,
beautiful and gentle, as you always were,
with light steps conquer the heart again,
then you give wings back to lost happiness.

I read in your eyes that you offer me love,
and I am aware that everything is just a dream,
the soul is filled with restlessness and doubt,
I wait for the day in bare water.

Another dream that brings you back to me
and I know that everything is just a trick,
the heart still feeds on lies,
while my boat sails to the island of the lonely.
