Introverted Sage

It's like I talk to you in time
From somewhere deep within my mind.
Close my eyes, not hard to find.
Learned the ways to see the signs.

Move on the waves, you feel it too.
Rushing in, all comes back to you.
Fire and water feels complete.
Breeze in the trees, lulls me to sleep.

Sacred song we dance along.
Left then right heart strings beat strong.
Moving with me every time I breathe.
Synchronized messages sing a new creed.

Isn't it beautiful when we can close our eyes, an allow nature to take us with it? 💫

    IS,

I read this through once and thought it rather good. I read it a second time and found it bounced around and wasn't as settling the second time around.

One minute I was deep in the mind with my eyes closed, but then I had waves rushing in at me, then fire! Then water! Yikes too much going on now! Suddenly the breeze was in the trees, my heart started pounding!

What makes it work is the essence of how nature can change in a instance, all the emotions hit me at once.

So now I'm not sure if this poem calmed me or unsettled me?

So that's a winner because I'm unable to decide.

    regards

    M

I'm elated to know my words created such visceral responses.
It's all about finding the balance. You feel the fire, but the water cools it, the breeze can either soothe or intensify.
Nature can change in an instant just as the tempestuous psyche of the human mind.
I appreciate your time and comment!
