Slow Potion

Sometimes we have to take a step back

And think and retrace our steps

At times our approach of attack

Is too aggressive and we need more depth

 

Things can move at lightning speed

And we can crash and burn so badly

A breather can be all we need

To see where we're going more clearly

 

At times our minds get clouded by emotion

And the reality of the situation is lost

That is when we need a slow potion

Or what we hold dear will be the cost

 

Now that our eyes and minds are open

And we don't let our hear and emotion rule

We can appreciate what we've gotten

And don't lose it all like a fool
