My Mind

My mind is like a hurricane

Raging around with thoughts

It is so hard for me to contain

And I can't charter its course

 

My mind is like a tornado 

Destroying feelings in its path

At times it doesn't know where to go

And just passes through with wrath

 

My mind is like a tsunami 

Slowly but dangerously clearing the way

It calmly but forcefully embodies

And washes the unnecessary away

 

My mind is like a serene sea

Where there's just stillness & peace

Everything is settled and in harmony

And all the commotion cease
