Time

Miss_Dreamer

I keep losing time

It slips through my fingers

And I watch from a distance as it washes away

I'm so detached from everything

That its meaning is entirely lost to me

And half an hour seems like half a minute

While life feels like an eternity

  • Comment from author about the poem: Dissociation makes time go a little weird; it's disorienting to suddenly realize how much time you've lost when you lose touch with the world around you
