The Day She Went Away

Hunar Miglani

That tear in my eye,

Missing the joy of my life.

The fear of losing her,

Eats me up every time she’s near.

The time she went away

I missed her in every way.

My head and her perfect height,

Missed her every night.

The day she didn’t talk,

My heart flopped.

She needs to rediscover

How she became my lover?

I don’t deserve her

After how I shoved my feelings for her

And as my heart says

I’ll marry her anyway.
