Piercer

Violetskies

Places I go

Are no strange places

To the seasoned eye

But I look with wonder

For rarely have men built towers so high

People I meet

Are rarely met

With grateful smiles

But I see their earnest desire

To traverse life in easy miles

These towers I see

Will never block out the sun

In my mind I will forever see

What we were and what we could become
