Would You Even Care?

Jasmine Swift

4 months after and nothing has changed.

Doesn't walking alone ever seem strange?

Ever since the end of us,

I've been breaking my bones to find someone to trust.

The darkness came when I made that list.

Now everything's wrong. I can't fix it with a wish.

Around me now, is black, stormy air.

If I told you the truth, Baby, would you even care?

As I try to live on, all I see is red.

If I told her "I'm sorry," she might cut off my head.

Would it be wrong to stand there and let her try?

Would it matter to you if I said I want to die?

these questions make me seen that one thing is true.

Your memory makes me know that I'm missing you.

The pain in my heart gets harder to bear.

So if I told you I loved you, would you even care?

Here we are after the fire left us burnt.

Why is it that you point your knife at my deepest hurt?

I've heard you've got a new girl in your head.

I bet you still think of me when she has you in her bed.

The night goes on as you become a woman slayer.

If I knew who she was, I'd do my best to save her.

But there's nothing I could ever do,

and she paints a golden heart an everlasting blue.

So I sit here alone. At the ceiling, I stare.

About the love you have, I hope that you care.
