You take pepsi max, while I'm drinking cider,
you'll sing songs, while I'm fighting urges,
you can dance, while I stumble on laces,
you can draw lineart, while I scribble lyrics,
So what are we?
If we weren't meant to be?
You share all your love genuinely,
while I build love bombs,
but why can we only be trauma bond?
but we can't talk without the regret,
we can't have fun without the red flags,
you can only see the emotion,
while I see the thorned roses,
if we weren't so far apart,
I would run and hear your dog,
get a bite or two just so I could share,
what I truly meant,
but sadly the clock already struck,
my cider turned into fifty and I'll be singing,
That old lullaby of our times,
such clarity without the parodies,
you take the juice box, while I'm drinking cola,
you used to mess up lyrics on songs, while I fought for my words and meanings,
you used to dance like crazy, while I am barefoot and acting antsy,
maybe this is the part where I moved on,
singing silly little songs and take walks on my own,
because today turned brighter, without your sunshine,
I take a sip from a soda can instead of your lip wine.
