Troubled Mind

c.kay.bee

I'm sitting there, shaking inside,
Wanting to scream, but I let it hide.
Everyone else seems just okay,
So why do I feel this way?

Panic kicks in, don't want to be seen,
Silently suffering, in shadows keen.
Hoping not to be called, quietly dying,
In the bathroom, I'm finally sighing.

Breaking away from the stress and the strife,
Finding a moment to regain my life.
In simple solitude, I try to find,
A little peace for my troubled mind.
