I threw the towel

erikaperez100

I threw the towel. I shut down my radar.

I am indifferent to sweet talk.

I am indifferent to indifference.  It all feels the same to me.

The butterflies in my stomach have gone extinct. I am numb to the pain.

It is as if I'm just standing still, like floating in space, without breathing, just frozen in place.

Until my rescuer comes my way and makes my heart beat again.

I will continue to stand still, without blinking, without breathing, just motionless.
