Autumn musings

NafisaSB

Crispy orange leaves

That sparkle

And crackle

And glint in the rain;

Autumn leaves so lovely –

They erase all your pain

Miles of green and gold

As far as the eyes can see

Meet your weary eyes

On every bush and tree

And the shades are of every size

And oh, so very pretty.

Enchanted by this sight

We move at a slow pace

This is a time to admire

And not to rush or race;

So it is with life – in autumn we slow down too

To enjoy the perks of life which are transient like the dew
