Blue Violet

I'm leaving

I'm leaving

In just a short while

Will there be anyone waiting?

Will there be any cry?

Counting my few days left

Lord knows I wish to stay

But one can't find opportunities

In her little hometown, they say.

Wasted potentials

Overachieved peers

So I must leave, I must run, I must pursue

...something

I must be away

...

from my beloved

from all the familiarities

No, I will cry no tears

Be grateful for the chance to leave

The luck I have is what others have been trying to obtain

for years and years.

But Lord knows I wish to stay

Lord knows I'm not special

I live to have a simple life

and that

I've never wanted to go away.
