contemplation

Katdream

contemplating the drawing you left behind…
A paradox of fantasy and rubbish
A message meant to mislead while judged by prying eyes
evidence meant to measure your thoughts
or concede to your unproven loyalty or respect
scribble left behind on a twisted concert leaflet
like a reptile coiled and ready to perform its primal instinct
striking when least predicted
you traffic your inmost thoughts putting pen to paper
to those who would approve your infectious culture
expecting recognition or a sightless eye to your infractions
will a two percent gratuity be enough to express my disgust?
