The importance of childhood

MahithHerath

Childhood is a time we cannot miss
As it is filled with lots of bliss.
Some moments may be sorrow,
Like not finding the end of the rainbow.
Or they can even be cheering,
Like when your birthday is nearing.

But then adulthood comes near
And childhood disappears,
Like a candle that's lit,
and melts bit by bit.
And then adulthood is like the darkness,
Which replaces the candle's brightness.

But nowadays people don't preserve,
and it is wasted by people who don't deserve.
And they lose the time for having fun,
and then they have to work a ton.
Now before you are too late,
Enjoy this time which is too great.

They are taught to grow up to fast in today's world.
When I was a child the only worry I had was if my mum found out I hit my cousin in the head, during a rock fight!
