Reaching out into the darkness
Searching for a life that I know is far gone
Screaming but no words leave my mouth
Burning in my throat reminding me I'm still alive
All energy lost along with the memories of being a child
Looking at my refection but seeing someone else staring back at me
Where did I go?
How long have I been gone?
