Were

Cherry Blossom

I didn’t want it to end like this.

But we already made our choices, it wasn’t a good one, we could’ve made better ones but I guess this is where the world ends – this is where our world ends.

We loved one another for years now and we both have no regrets.

We cherished every moment we spent together, shared a lot of laughs, and loved a lot.

But those will just be memories now.

I thought we would be together, but I guess we can’t.

I thought we were meant to be, but I guess fate didn’t like it that much.

I thought you were mine and I was yours, but were not.

You will forever be engraved in my heart and my soul, you will be a memory I won’t forget.

“You were the best experience.”

“You were… everything.”
