I keep doing things that hurt me
It’s like this cycle I can’t get out of
I get away
Then it pulls me back in
The people
The drugs
The alcohol
My life looks so pretty from the outside
But if you get to know me
I’m just doing things that hurt me

It's interesting how somehow we are hell bent on destroying ourselves.
I can relate, although it took me more years to realise.
