You said you loved me,
What a good lie you told!
You would yell at me,
Until I turned cold.
You couldn’t keep your hands off me,
You said I was yours.
You didn’t listen to me,
You said you just wanted more.
You called me at midnight,
I would show you that I’m here.
You told me you’re allowed to cheat,
So I started not to care.
You called me at two,
But instead, I said, screw you.

- Comment from author about the poem: It concerns a boy and a girl who are romantically involved. The boy\\\'s lying and temper issues are discussed in the first section, which depresses the girl. The third section discusses how the boy believes he can touch the lady whenever he pleases, even if it disturbs her because she is his girlfriend. The guy loves to phone the girl late at night, but one night he starts suggesting that he can cheat and that he has already cheated, which annoys the girl, according to the two concluding sections. The girl tells him she\\\'s officially done with him in the last two lines, despite his request for a third opportunity.

And if that isn't bad enough, he'll move on to someone else. Some people just think the world owes them everything. Some people never learn. Great write Nicole.
