Runaway or you will break from the pressure.
Being on autopilot is failing you.
Go while the chance is still open.
Prison within four walls' judgement.
Ghost slides between your fingers.
Aching because you grieve.
Apologies are gone with the last word.
Fright hits you like a freight train.
Strange that it would conquer the deepest part in your silky veins.
I'd rather eat the ember's ashes than have poisoned food.
Creepy slanted eyes that kill.
Flashback to a small fragile child.
Permanent frown, knowing no other emotions.
No one can help you now, you are by yourself.
Cruel laughter haunts your skull.
Runaway before you end up in a box...
sleep.

- Comment from author about the poem: If there is a way out, then take it. Make sure that you are safe in a safe environment with someone that you truly trust. Sometimes the people that we call family can hurt us just as much. Seek help if you are able but please, do not give up.
