Shattered

Someone asked why I left

I say its better to lose a lover

Than love a loser

Because beggars cant be choosers

I don't know why I give out my heart

Because now i'm trying to pick up the broken pieces they left

And have a fresh start

Because I cant prevent the inevitable

I try to see the good and ignore the bad 

It's the truth and it's kinda sad

How i´m so naive and optimistic 

in a shattered world that's realistic
