FELL THE MORNINGSTAR, FOR GOD
SINNED ASKING TO BE LOVED.
WINGS BURNING, HE DESCENDS TO HELL,
IN SPITE OF BEING “FATHERS’ BELOVED”.
A CORNER OF HIS HEART WOULD BLEED, SO
FELL ADAM & EVE, AS DID THE APPLE’S SEED.
BUT DOES NOT A CHILD STRAY…
WHILE HATH AN ABSENT FATHER BELAY?
GUILTY BEINGS, HE LOVED AS HIS OWN
WHILE LOYAL CHILDREN, WITH WRATH HE’D DISOWN.
LITTLE DO WE SEE, LUCIFER SUFFERED LONG,
AS WE CHERISHED GOD, THE ONE TRULY WRONG.
DO YOU EVER WONDER
IF HIS CRIES ARE
WHAT MAKE THE SKIES THUNDER?
DOES THE HEART EVER WANDER,
THROUGH FORBIDDEN PASSES
AND TO WHAT’S UNDER?
WHISTLING A WICKED TUNE
HE SITS ALL ALONE.
WITH AGONY CARVED AS A BLAZING RUNE
AND LEGS CROSSED, ON THE THRONE.
THE DECEIVER, OUR DAMNATION,
MANY A NAME HE HAS BEEN CALLED.
FOR DESIRING ONLY THAT WHICH
HE DESERVED, HE IS APPALLED.
LOOK PAST THE BIBLICAL LIES
AND INTO HIS DEEP EYES,
A SHATTERED WORLD YOU’LL SEE,
BURNT AND FORCED TO FLEE.
MANY RUN IN TREMBLING FEAR,
BUT SOME LOOK AT HIM AND SHED A TEAR.
HOLDING HIS FACE CLOSE,
THEY SAY ‘MY DARLING DEAR!
KNOW YOUR NAME, I DO,
BEFORE HE UNRIGHTFULLY PUNISHED YOU
AND GIFTED BRUISES- BLACK AND BLUE.
YOU ARE SAMAEL,
AN ARCHANGEL OF VALOUR AND VICTOR.
I FEAR YOU NOT.
HOW BRAVELY YOU HAVE FOUGHT!
REST, YOU MAY,
FOR A HOME, I HAVE BROUGHT.’
WITH FEATHERS OF
A MAMMOTHS MIGHT
HE SHALL NOW
FIGHT YOUR FIGHT.
LOVED AN OUTCAST AS
YOUR OWN, YOU HAVE.
NOW FIRE WILL RAIN
IN THE HEAVENS ABOVE,
PREPARE TO SEE, HOW BOUNDLESS IS
THE DEVILS LOVE.

A well written and composed, powerful poem with references to many archaic old stories. This presents the other side of the story where balance is needed in the world. So well done.
not all were open to the reality of individual truth. There weren't many times people asked for both sides of the story. Thank you.
Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
forgive me. I understand this is a verse from the Bible but I am not an actual Christian so I do not understand its relevance. Explain, if you may please...
Just a biblical truth.
