A union society dared not clasp.

Keekanon

In a world where lines are drawn,
They found a love, so deeply drawn.
Society's eyes, they couldn't see,
The bond they shared, so wild and free.

Different paths they were meant to tread,
But destiny wove their lives instead.
One from the dawn, one from the night,
Yet together, their hearts took flight.

Whispers of doubt, judgments cast,
But in each other's arms, they found solace vast.
Their love, a tale the world couldn't grasp,
A union society dared not clasp.

They danced in shadows, away from light,
Knowing their love was worth the fight.
Risking it all for stolen embraces,
Defying norms, ignoring the disgraces.

Passion blazed like a fervent fire,
Fuelled by a love that would never tire.
Their souls entwined, a rebel art,
Two beating hearts, never to depart.

In the face of odds, they chose to stand,
Hand in hand, against reprimand.
Their love, a symphony of highs and lows,
A testament to what true love knows.

So let them talk, let them decree,
Their love's their truth, their sanctuary.
For in each other's eyes, they see,
A world where love reigns eternally.
