Lonely

John Lee

I get a little lonely

As people lean on me

I try to keep my sanity

I pretend they entertain me

They don't really know

The one I behold

I just want to be included

But I'm the one that eluded

Everyone that loves me

Because I'm not very trusting

It's the love ones that hurt me

When with you I'm not hurting

It's this place that makes me weep

Is it death that sets me free

It's not that I want to die

I just want to feel alive

I like when I hear nothing

And only see sky above me

Every time I spoke to you

I felt the wind that you blew

It's almost like you hear me

It's almost like you're with me

It's okay when you listen in on me

Because you don't make me feel lonely
