Chasing the Stars

The Night Owl

Chasing the stars

with you by my side

voyaging on a wooden boat

being struck by a tide

Stranded on the island

crossing the seven seas

wishing upon the stars

this night forever lies

Gazing upon the empty sky

once filled with

clouds of laughter and joy

You said, meet me at the horizon

for when this world ends

sealing the envelope of love

a reminiscence of collision

Meandering through the meadows

under the moonlight

a beacon of love

between the earth and paradise

Downpour of stardust

sprinkling on the shore

the gentle breeze hits us

with the feeling of wanderlust
