Letters

SpiderLotus

In every letter there is a beginning and an end

so when my time comes could my words still shine in your heart and eyes?

Would the writer still be able to reach their readers?

Would every word in every letter lose its meaning

A completed shirt torn at its seams

Unfixable in everyone's' eyes?

It's my love that compels me to write

Nothing in the world belongs to me

But these words for you in which I write through countless nights

These words belong to me, and joyfully I share for you to see

In every letter there is a beginning and an end

It is selfish to ask the world if I could never end

When the time comes would you still shine?

Me, the writer forever stuck in every inked word

Then there is you my summer to my everlasting winter

To my dearest, I write for you today as I always have

A time of thought has brought me great gratitude

The memories we created and the smiles we shared

I just wanted to say I l-

There is an end in the letters even in the ones that never arrived.

  • Comment from author about the poem: In every word the writer stays. In which I hope this poem will stay in your minds. Though I cannot say that I expect as such. Thank you for your time reading this in an ideal world I can only hope it has paused and made you think. Time is fleeting and so are we.

This is full of generalisations.Because of that I couldn't find any meaning. But hey maybe you need to actually write a letter instead of talking about it just sayin

Well not every letter is perfect wouldn't you agree? There is a reason why it's unsent. Thank you for your time 🙂
