The Magical Book

Firefall

She crept into the old library at midnight

Glancing around, she let out a sigh of relief

and whispered a prayer of thanks to her guardian angels

Looking up, she marveled at the shimmering swirls of dust

Floating down like fairy lights dancing in the moonlight

Reminding her of birthday wishes from so long ago

Inspired, she spun around and around

Faster and faster

Until she glowed with an internal light

Her body humming with pure delight

Set free, she followed her heart

Intuition guiding her to the once secret location

On the shelf, a book jumped out

Holding it in her hands, she believed in its powerful magic

Closing her eyes, she stepped into its pages,

Instantly, she knew the truth

An entire lifetime wasted searching for the answer

Life is like a romance novel

Where everyone can find their happily ever after

If they just believe
