Untouchable Rose

VenusOfTheArk

Like A Rose

Their desire to admire her was so real

Though she held up her thorns

They were eager to wrap their hands around her

as they tore into her delicate petals

Screaming as blood dripped from their hands

Her thorns made her a danger

And with danger came consequences

They called her uptight and mean

Made her out to be an ugly thing

Deep down they all wanted to near her

To push the walls, she had built around herself to the very edge

To get a reaction from her

To deem her as evil once again
