I Don't Like Dates

zeraprinc

I don't like dates, I don't like anniversaries,
even when you pretend you care about me,
I don't need your attention sporadically,
because, sorry, that's really little for me.

I don't like birthdays and polite wishes,
when the app reminds them of me,
not even your message a minute after midnight,
you are not next to me - disqualification.

I don't like your hypocrisy in full glory,
when you show others that you care for me,
and you know your hug can help me
so that my life does not take the wrong path.

I don't like that I love you and that you are the only one
with whom my story is complete,
even though your need for other people's attention
it pushed our love into darkness.
