B. Frost

I remember way back when before I turned old
There were many written ones called the rules of the road

We had blinkers to indicate a turn either way
As a tool used to avoid a collision on any given day

We used the stop signs then as they are still designed
People roll through them now with a selfie on their mind

Swerving from lane to lane to check the most recent text
Endangering lives along the way what laws will be sidestepped next

Exhausting the right turn lane all the way to the end
Then to get left at the very last second as zero respect shines brightly again

Accelerating back and forth for that single-car position
Only to meet you at the same red light apparently just short of your mission

Music blaring for the world to hear clearly acting a fool
Possibly check out the notable difference between being silly and remotely being cool

Toys lining the dashboard confusion from side to side
That should be an additional loss of value to your already depreciating ride

It doesn’t matter if you’re with the family or possibly all alone
Focus on the safe operation of your vehicle and stay off your freaking phone

To all the good folks listed above who may need a friendly reminder to click it
Accountability and consequence will fix these problems with violations once noted on tickets
