IN THE BELFRY

nephilim56

Whispers in the belfry
Princes hide below
Deep inside dungeon walls
The princess longs to know.

Why the jester is imprisoned
Each brick a hard farewell
The king demands a cigarette
The prince he longs to tell.

That the queen is not a queen at all
She pawned her crown and rings
The walls are not protecting angels
And water does not wash away the sins.
