What humans are trying so hard to attain and putting their efforts into in today's society is utter bullshit
It's all a waste of time
It's selfish, fleeting, and temporary
Why do we seek fame?
Why do we seek riches?
Why do we seek validation from others?
Why do we want the newest technology?
Why do we want the fastest, most fanciest cars?
Why do we want the trendiest clothes?
These things come and go, like the wind blows strongly and then settles to a calm.
It's a constant battle between contentment and then craving more
Isn't it sad that the things that really matter we don't seem to care about?
They get buried under all the superficial desires; covered in dirt, filth, and false security.
What humans need to be striving for and prioritizing are these things:
Freedom from hatred; unconditional love
Freedom from desire; self control
Freedom from greed; contentment
Freedom from ignorance; growing in knowledge
Freedom from sensuality; focusing more on emotional connection and less on physical attraction and connection
To attain peace; especially inner peace
Freedom from suffering; spiritually, emotionally, and mentally
To uncover and discover new parts of ourselves; both the good and the bad
To gain enlightenment and awakening; dying to your "old self" and becoming a new, better version of you
If we want long lasting happiness and fulfillment, we have to stop looking to external shit to reach it.
Because it comes from within.
Everything you want and need you have already acquired.
We just have to reach deeper inside of our souls, hearts, and minds to find it all.
Don't underestimate the power you have to change your life.
So what should the ultimate goal be?
To grow into our truest form of ourselves so we may love ourselves authentically
And in turn, we can love others truly and authentically as well.
Aspire to reach the state of Nirvana.
Google the term, you won't regret it.
I know I don't.
