To my friend, Ali

shisterva

Being strong is different from what you think

A tough man is not made out of zinc,

Real strength is found in the ability to share,

To open up, to show that you truly care.

In silence, hearts can grow heavy and cold,

The weight of unspoken words takes its toll,

In the depths of the heart, strength does reside,

Not in armor of silence or in rugged pride.

You see, for a family, you'll never be a burden,

You're a source of joy, a light, and a burgeon,

In the tapestry of friendship, you're woven in,

You’ll never be a burden, but a treasure within.

We're here to listen, to help you find the thunder,

In your darkest moments we’re gonna be your wonder.

We stand by your side, but we'll never interfere,

With hearts full of love, we'll always be near.

So remember, my friend, strength isn't in the might,

It's the will to endure, to stand up and fight.

True strength is found in the battles we face,

In accepting defeat with dignity and grace.

For a man who shares, who dares to feel,

Is a warrior in truth, whose wounds may heal.
